Timely Topics: The Impact of Trauma on Our Community Feb 9

2/9/2022

On February 9, 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm,  Karen Simms, Founding Director of Trauma and Resilience Initiative, Inc. was the speaker for this month's Timely Topics.
Advance registration was required for this Zoom event.
The trauma created in our community by gun violence and the pandemic makes this topic especially timely. Karen Simms is a community leader, therapist and nationally recognized presenter who addresses the root causes of community violence and focuses on coalition building and integrated care and wellness. She received the “Freedom Fighter” award from the CU chapter of the NAACP in 2019.
