On October 23, LWVCC President Emerita Trisha Crowley talked about the history of the Electoral College and why the national League has launched the campaign. 

“While the League does not endorse candidates, it does advocate for issues important to voters,” said Crowley. “The Electoral College is outdated. It disenfranchises voters by sending the message that their votes don’t count. It’s time to give the power back to the American people.”
