LWVCC Book Club October 6

The first book club meeting of the 2022-23 year will be October 6, 2022, from 6:30 to 8 pm at the Champaign Public Library. ​The Credentialed Court begins by establishing just how different today's Justices are from their predecessors.  The book combines two massive empirical studies of every Justice's background from John Jay to Amy Coney Barrett with short readable bios of past greats to demonstrate that today's Justices arrive on the Court with much narrower experience than they once did. League member Lila Sullivan will lead the discussion.
