The League of Women Voters of Champaign County  holds several recurring series of meetings and events. The individual events are listed on the Calendar and in LWVCC Events.

Keeping It Local (Public)

Keeping It Local is a educational program that provides information and generates discussion about current local and state issues.  The  events are  hour-long sessions, usually at noon on a Wednesday, once or twice a month.  See the League's Calendar for exact dates and information how to register. Sessions will be recorded and made available on the League’s YouTube channel.  Please note: These sessions were previously called "Timely Topics".

In the Know - League Updates (Members and Public on Request)

In the Know - League Updates are half-hour sessions that spotlight League basics and updates for members. These are usually half-hour sessions, on a Wednesday, once or twice a month. LWVCC members receive meeting details just before the meeting.  The public may contact the person listed in the League's Calendar to request an invitation.  Please note: These sessions were previously called LWVCC Office Hours.

Coffee and Conversation (Members)

League members meet approximately quarterly to discuss books on current topics related to the League's scope. As the book club meeting date approaches, details are sent to League members.  The meetings are also announced in League's newsletter The Voter and on the LWVCC Calendar. Depending on local Covid conditions, book club meetings may be held in a local library setting or via Zoom.
