Your Voting Options
Registered voters in Champaign county have a number of options for voting:
Voting by mail is a safe and effective way to cast your ballot. In order to receive a mail-in ballot you must request one from the County Clerk’s office. Requested ballots will be sent out to voters who requested them starting September 24. After receiving your ballot you can fill it out at home and then return it either through the mail or through one of the dropbox locations available throughout Champaign.
Voters who wish to vote in person can either vote on Election Day (Tuesday, November 3, 7:00am-7:00pm) or take advantage of Early Voting options available across Champaign county October 19-November 2. If you’re already registered you can even vote at the County Clerk’s Office as early as September 24.
Please note: You must first be registered before you can vote. For information, see the Register to Vote page.
