Goals & Recommendations for 2023 - 2025 (pdf)

Progress on Goals & Recommendations

  • An election marketing campaign "Make your voice count. Vote!"  was used prior to the November 5, 2024 General Election and April 1, 2025 Municipal Consolidated Election. Teams used the graphics in a variety of ways ranging from billboards to bookmarks, digital to print.
  • A survey of The Voter newsletter was sent to recipients in May 2024. The goal was to assess interest, accessibility, preferred content, etc.  The results show that the newsletter is valued. Although not entirely conclusive, there is interest in changing the schedule to a quarterly edition and adding weekly or bi-weekly event and volunteer sign-up reminders.  How such a transition might be achieved is under further discussion.
  • A pilot photo workshop was held in late July 2024 for a small group of team leads that provided tips for taking higher quality photos for use in multiple platforms. A follow-up session will focus on how to archive and manage our photo collection, and how to follow LWV policies related to use of audio, video, and still photos.
  • A press release template for public LWVCC events is now available along with sample press releases.  LWVCC teams can use these to develop their own press releases in a standard format.
  • Steps to promote the monthly "Keeping It Local" program, developed in conjunction with the Program Team, are now available.
