See Your Sample Ballot

Sample ballots for each election are specific to your home address location. Your ballot will list all the candidates you can vote for.

Sample ballots for the March 19, 2024 Primary Election will be available after candidate lists have been certified.

Use the LWVCC Candidate Guide

Once you know which candidates will be on your ballot, learn about the candidates and make your choices.  

The nonpartisan organization VoteChampaign compiles a Candidate Guide for each election in Champaign County.   

The Candidate Guide features questions and answers from each candidate and includes website links, social media, email, and phone number. There are also links to any available candidate forum video in the community. Candidate information is available closer to the election date and updated as the day approaches.

Watch Candidate Forums

LWVCC offers Candidate Forums before each Champaign County Election. These may offer in-person attendance but all are videotaped and made available on YouTube. It's a chance to see candidates in comparison to each other. 

LWVCC announces its Candidate Forums to the public as they are available. Watch for announcements on our website, Facebook,  Instagram or in the LWVCC newsletter.

Make a Plan for Voting

Make a plan for how and when you want to vote.

​There are three options for voting in Champaign County: voting by mail, voting in person early, and voting in person on election day. Voters are encouraged to vote by mail or vote early--avoid any lines on election day!
