What is the committment level?

It's up to you!

Some members choose to support the League only with their annual dues. Your membership alone gives us the influence needed to build a force for change.

We cover a broad range of issues; you may choose to become involved in one or more of them by actively participating on a team, a project or a group study.

What will I get with my membership?

When you join LWVCC you add your voice to League members from all 50 states and Washington, D.C.

Dues include membership in our Champaign County League (LWVCC) as well as the state (LWVIL)and national (LWVUS) Leagues.

Members receive email communications including program updates, action alerts and event invitations from LWVCC and LWVIL.

Members also receive a subscription to our local newsletter, The Voter.

How can I pay for my membership dues?

You can pay dues with a credit card or check. Click the big red Join/Renew button to pay by credit card. If you are more comfortable signing up on paper (and paying with a check), you can print a "Join: Payment by Check" form and mail it in with a check.

What are the differences between the membership types?

Each of these membership types (Individual, Household, and Student) provide the same membership.

Individual Membership
$75 for an individual.

Household Membership
$110 for two members of the same household.

Student Membership
$5 for a student membership.

About LWVCC Membership

Individual Membership is open to those 16 years and older.

Membership dues are based on the fiscal year from July 1 through June 30.  Members are billed by early May for the following year. Payment is due by June 1.
