Registered voters can choose the voting method that works best for them--vote by mail, vote in person early, or vote in person on Election Day.

Requesting Your Mail Ballot

All registered voters can request a mail ballot - no reason is needed. Registered voters have 2 options:   

• Ask to be added to the continuing (permanent) vote by mail list.  Unless you move, request to be removed from the list, or die, you will receive a mail ballot for every election you are eligible to vote in. Make your request now through Feb 20, 2025.
• Request a mail ballot for each election in which you want to vote by mail.  City of Urbana voters: Request a mail ballot for the February 25, 2025 Primary Election only now through February 20, 2025.
