League of Women Voters United States: Stand for Democracy

The League of Women Voters of the U.S. CEO Virginia Kase Solomón issued the following statement following President Biden’s State of the Union address:
“In his first State of the Union address, President Biden made clear the importance of democracy — in America and across the globe. And as democracy in Europe is being threatened, we support and stand united with the people of Ukraine. An attack on democracy anywhere is an attack on democracy for all of us. We stand in the belief that democracy will always prevail both internationally and right here at home.
