Zoom Meeting. lllinois' new comprehensive energy and climate bill, the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (SB 2408, CEJA), sets Illinois on a path to a 100% clean energy future by 2050 and delivers 100% carbon-free power by 2045. Amand Pankau talked about how the bill protects the planet and public health, builds an equitable clean energy economy for all, holds utilities accountable,supports transitioning coal communities and workers, and more.

Women's March - Saturday October 2, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. The Women's March, sponsored by the Women’s Law Society at UIUC, supported women's reproductive rights. LWVCC joined with members of other nonpartisan organizations - When We All Vote and My School Votes - to help register voters and provide voting information at the start of the march.
