Conversations with Elected Officials: Webinar June 15

On June 15, 6:30 pm, LWVCC and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority (AKA) presented a webinar with  recently elected council members: Grace Wilken, Urbana Ward 6, Chaundra Bishop, Urbana Ward 8, and Daniel Iniguez, Champaign District 3.

Council members shared information about running for office, discussed how their roles have developed once in office, and responded to questions. Citizens shared effective strategies for contacting elected officials based on their experience.  Also LWVCC Voter Ready co-chair Ann Prisland provided  a last-minute primary election voting information.
