Eliminating Cash Bail and Other Aspects of the SAFE-T Act: Keeping It Local

​This program is about eliminating Cash Bail in Champaign County, as well as other aspects of the SAFE-T Act. The program  will be led by outgoing President Trisha Crowley, who will welcome three speakers:

• Jason Hamann, Regional Chief of the Office of Statewide Pretrial Services
• Carol Leff, President of the local chapter of the ACLU (citizen’s point of view)
• Elisabeth Pollock, Champaign County Public Defender
