LWVCC Book Club, April 20

Join moderator Cathy Emanuel and other LWVCC members at the Champaign Public Library on Thursday, April 20 from 7 to 8 pm, to discuss Lessons from the Edge: A Memoir by Marie Yovanovitch. 

​Lessons from the Edge is an inspiring and fascinating memoir by the former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine. 

A pioneering diplomat who spent her career advancing democracy in the post-Soviet world, Marie Yovanovitch recounts her many years in public service and the experience of testifying during President Trump’s first impeachment.

​Madeleine Albright calls Yovanovitch's memoir "essential reading for current policymakers, aspiring diplomats, and anyone who cares about America’s role in the world."
